Tide & Timber Hall

Spaces

Four spaces, one hall.

Use the Main Hall on its own or combine with one or more of our breakout rooms. Capacity from 40 to 600. Open catering — you bring whoever you want.

Main Hall

Capacity: 350 seated dinner · 600 standing reception

Our anchor space. The Main Hall is 8,400 sq ft of converted machine shop — exposed brick, old-growth fir ceiling beams, and a western wall of floor-to-ceiling windows we added in 2021. Afternoon light from 2pm makes for a genuinely exceptional cocktail hour.

What’s standard:

  • Three loading bays directly adjacent (caterers do not have to carry food through the main hall — separate service corridor)
  • Built-in projection (16:9, front and rear throw configurations)
  • House PA (line-array, 8-channel stereo) for speeches and background music
  • Full-perimeter power drops for service stations and production cabling
  • Kitchen prep area with commercial sinks, ice, and speed racks

Typical use:

  • Seated dinner for 200–350
  • Standing reception for 400–600
  • Conference with full-floor trade show layout
  • Mixed: conference day, reception evening (same booking)

Belltown Room

Capacity: 60 seated · 80 standing

The Belltown Room is our most popular breakout for private dinners and VIP receptions. Exposed brick, its own private bar with two taps, and direct access to the Main Hall via a sliding industrial door that can be opened or closed.

Best for:

  • Pre-event VIP cocktail reception before a Main Hall dinner
  • Parallel breakout session for a conference
  • Intimate seated dinner (40–60) when the full Main Hall is more space than you need
  • Green room for performers, speakers, or wedding party

Shares the Main Hall’s loading corridor, so your caterer can service both spaces simultaneously.

Pier Room

Capacity: 80 seated · 100 standing

The Pier Room faces west onto the loading corridor and, beyond that, has a partial view of Puget Sound through the original industrial skylights. At 80 seated, it’s our mid-size breakout — big enough for a full board dinner, small enough to feel intentional.

Features:

  • Original skylights (no blackout capability — morning and midday events only for presentations requiring screen visibility)
  • Adjacent restroom cluster (no shared facilities with Main Hall during simultaneous bookings)
  • Flexible table configurations: classroom, hollow square, banquet rounds

Typical pairing: Main Hall for the general session, Pier Room for concurrent roundtables or a working lunch.

Mezzanine

Capacity: 40 standing · 24 seated

The Mezzanine overlooks the Main Hall from 14 feet up — it was the original foreman’s office level and we kept the steel-mesh railings and riveted catwalk aesthetic. It’s a genuinely unusual space: you can host a VIP cocktail hour up here while the main event sets up below, or use it for overflow seating with a view down to the stage.

Best for:

  • VIP lounge during a Main Hall reception or concert
  • Photographer’s nest (excellent sight lines, elevated position)
  • Speaker/performer green room with a bird’s-eye view of the room below
  • Small awards ceremony (24 seated, intimate, industrial backdrop)

Note: The Mezzanine is accessible by staircase only — not ADA-compliant for this level. Main Hall and all first-floor spaces are fully ADA compliant.
